Founder & Directer

Founder and Director Teswal White is the visionary founder of the Serious Youth Violence Network. With two decades of hands-on experience in youth development, Teswal specialises in addressing the challenges faced by gangs and serious youth violence. His extensive background includes working with disadvantaged and marginalised communities, focusing on the impacts of serious youth violence and child criminal exploitation. Teswal’s dedication has been instrumental in shaping effective interventions and support mechanisms within the network and is one of the lead trainers.

Cheryl White

Training Manager

Training Manager Cheryl White is a seasoned safeguarding specialist and Lecturer who brings over 20 years of experience in youth work and a decade of frontline practice in social work. Cheryl holds a master’s degree in social work and a bachelor’s degree in youth and community work and is currently a Social Work Lecturer at Birmingham City University. As the Training Manager, Cheryl is responsible for the development and implementation of our comprehensive training programs, ensuring they meet the highest standards and address the evolving needs of our members.

Naomi Palmer

Resource Manager

Resource Manager Naomi Palmer plays a crucial role as the Resource Manager, meticulously curating and distributing vital resources to our network members. Her commitment to providing the latest tools and information empowers organisations to tackle serious youth violence. Naomi’s attention to detail and dedication ensure that our members have access to the best practices and innovative solutions in the field.

Solomon Griffiths

Community Liaison Officer

Community Liaison Officer and Associate Facilitator Solomon Griffiths brings over 15 years of specialised experience in working with high-risk individuals involved in serious youth violence. His diverse roles have included mediation, intervention, and resettlement work, along with providing support to young people within Britain’s prison system. As the Community Liaison Officer, Solomon is dedicated to fostering strong connections with community organisations and facilitating collaborative efforts. In his additional role as an Associate Facilitator, Solomon leverages his extensive knowledge and skills to enhance our training sessions and community programs.

Natalie Queiroz

Associate Facilitator

Associate Facilitator Natalie Queiroz brings a wealth of experience and passion for youth development and violence prevention. Her background includes extensive work in community outreach and advocacy, making her an invaluable asset to our team. As an associate facilitator, she contributes to the design and delivery of our training programs and supports our community outreach efforts.
